Diazepam is used for the treatment of anxiety disorders. Diazepam also is used for the treatment of agitation, tremors, delirium, seizures, and hallucinations resulting from alcohol withdrawal. It is used for the treatment of seizures and relief of muscle spasms in some neurological diseases.

Zolpidem is used to treat sleep problems (insomnia). It may help you fall asleep faster, stay asleep longer, and reduce the number of times you awaken during the night. Zolpidem belongs to a class of drugs called sedatives.

Zopiclone is indicated for the short-term treatment of insomnia characterized by difficulty in falling asleep, frequent nocturnal awakenings, and/or early morning awakenings. Since sleep disturbances may be the presenting symptom of a physical and/or psychiatric disorder, the patient should be carefully evaluated before pharmacologic treatment is initiated. Insomnia that continues after 7 to 10 days of treatment may indicate the presence of a primary psychiatric and/or medical illness.
