What is Sustanon?
Sustanon 250 is an oil-based injectable Testosterone blend, developed by Organon. It typically contains four different testosterone esters: Testosterone propionate (30 mg); testosterone phenylpropionate (60 mg); testosterone isocaproate (60mg); and testosterone decanoate (100 mg), although a lower dosed version is also produced. An intelligently “engineered” testosterone, Sustanon is designed to provide a fast yet extended release of Testosterone. The propionate and phenylpropionate esters in this product are quickly utilized, releasing into circulation within the first four days.
As with all Testosterone products, Sustanon is a strong anabolic with pronounced androgenic activity. It is mainly used as a bulking drug, providing good gains in strength and muscle mass. Although it does convert to estrogen, as is the nature of Testosterone, this injectable is noted as being slightly more tolerable than Cypionate or Enanthate. Such observations are only issues of timing however. With Sustanon, blood levels of Testosterone are building more slowly, so side effects do not set in as fast. For equal blood hormone levels however, Testosterone will break down equally without regard to ester. Also correlating with estrogen, water retention would be evident with Sustanon, unless steps were taken to decrease estrogen.
Sustanon is a very popular steroid which is highly appreciated by its users since it offers several advantages when compared to other Testosterone compounds. Sustanon is a mixture of four different Testosterone which, based on the well-timed composition, have a synergetic effect. This special feature has two positive characteristics for the athlete. First, based on the special combination effect of the compounds, Sustanon has a better effect than Testosterone Enanthate, Cypionate, and propionate alone. Second, the effect of the four Testosterone is time-released so that Sustanon goes rapidly into the system and remains effective in the body for several weeks. Due to the propionate also included in the steroid, Sustanon is effective after one day and, based on the mixed in decanoates, remains active for 3-4 weeks. Sustanon has a distinct androgenic effect which is coupled with a strong anabolic effect. Therefore it is well suited to build up strength and mass. A rapid increase in body strength and an even increase in body weight occur. Athletes who use Sustanon report a solid muscle growth since it results in less water retention and also aromatizes less than either Testosterone Enanthate or Cypionate.
It is further noticed that Sustanon is also effective when relatively low doses are given to well advance athletes. It is interesting to note that when Sustanon is given to athletes who have already used this compound in the same or lower doses, it leads to similar good results as during the previous intake. Sustanon is usually injected at least once a week, which stretches up to 10 days. The dosage in bodybuilding and power lifting ranges from 250 mg every 14 days up to 1000 mg or more per day. Since such high dosages are not recommended and fortunately are also not taken in most cases the rule is 250-1000 mg/week. A dosage of 500 mg/week is completely sufficient for most, and can often be reduced to 250 mg/week by combining with an oral steroid. In order to gain mass fast Sustanon is often combined with Deca Durabolin, Dianabol or Anadrol while athletes who are more into quality prefer combining it with, Winstrol, Anavar or Primobolan Depot.
Since Sustanon suppresses the endogenous Testosterone production the intake of HCG and Clomid must be considered after six weeks or at the end of treatment. It is recommended that women not take depot Testosterone since the androgen level would strongly increase. Despite this, it is not uncommon for female competing athletes in the higher weight classes to take Testosterone since it helps in remaining "competitive." Women who use Testosterone or who would like to try it should limit its use to either only testosterone propionate or inject a maximum of 250 mg Sustanon every 10-14 days over a period of no longer than six weeks. At this point we would like to emphasize once more that steroid novices should stay away from all Testosterone compounds since, at this time; they simply do not need them.
Use/Dosing
Testosterone can play a role in promoting fat loss. It also has the ability to bind to the androgen receptors in fat cells. This can enable the breakdown of body fat and also deters new fat formation. When the dosage rises above 750-1000mg per week, increased side effects will no doubt be outweighing additional benefits. Basically you will receive a poor return on your investment, which with Sustanon can be substantial. Instead of taking unnecessarily large amounts, athletes interested in rapid size and strength will usually opt to addition another compound. For this purpose we find that Sustanon stacks extremely well with the potent orals Anadrol and Dianabol. On the other hand, Sustanon may work better with Winstrol if the athlete were seeking to maintain a harder, more defined look to his physique
INJECTION INFORMATION ABOUT SUSTANON:-
If a steroid user uses a long acting testosterone (such as Testosterone Enanthate), they will inject it once or twice each week. At the end of each week, the long acting ester has tapered down to its original levels and threatens to drop below that level if a new injection is not made. More frequent injections are necessary to keep stable blood levels are make full use of all esters in the blend. Many users claim that injection only twice a week or even once a week is sufficient for Sustanon. The logical conclusion here is that Sustanon can be injected only once a week, this is done only at the loss of the shorter acting propionate and phenyl propionate esters. Injection one gram of Sustanon weekly will still take full advantage of the shorter acting on decanoate esters which combined account for 64% of the total blend.
SUSTANON SIDE EFFECTS:-
Many individuals like to use a combination of Nolvadex & Proviron, while others use an anti-aromatize like Arimidex to help control estrogen related side effects.
Being a strong androgen, we can expect the typical side effects. This includes oily skin, acne body/facial hair growth and premature balding. The addition of Proscar/Propecia should be able to minimize such side effects, as it will limit the conversion of Testosterone to DHT. Sustanon will also suppress natural Testosterone production rather quickly. The use of HCG or Clomid/Nolvadex is necessary at the conclusion of a cycle in order to avoid a hormonal crash. Sustanon will remain active in the body for up to a month after your last injection was given. Begin your post cycle drug therapy immediately after the steroid has been discontinued will not be very effective. Instead, HCG or Clomid/Nolvadex should be delayed three weeks, until you are near the point where blood androgen levels have dropped significantly.
The side effects of Sustanon are similar to those of Testosterone Enanthate only that they are usually less frequent and less severe. Depending on the predisposition and dosage, the user can experience the usual androgenic-liked side effects such as acne, aggressiveness, sexual over-stimulation, oily skin, accelerated hair loss, and reduced production of the body own hormones.
Sustanon is well distributed on the black market and readily available. Unfortunately, a large number of these compounds are more or less good fakes. When someone offers you ampoules which do not have a paper label but a simple, usually red, imprint, these are certainly fakes.
Testosterone is able to promote strength increases and muscular growth via numerous mechanisms. It also promotes nitrogen retention in muscle therefore allowing the muscles to hold more protein and enabling repair and growth of those muscles. Secondly Testosterone binds to the androgen receptor to promote receptor dependant mechanisms for muscular growth and fat loss. This is due to the short acting esters that Sustanon 250 contains. If one chooses to inject less frequently they are likely to experience fluctuating levels and this can lead to harsher side effects in some users. However due to the long acting esters users must wait approximately 21 days after the last injection to have the compound clear their system so that they can begin post-cycle therapy.
Most of the side effects that result from using Testosterone in males are related to testosterone's high tendency to convert into estrogen. These side effects can include water retention and gynecomastia. Users often complain that water retention is much more severe with longer acting esters than with shorter acting esters such as propionate. To combat these side effects users can use inhibitors and/or selective estrogen receptor modulators. Of course the likelihood of estrogen related side effects increase as the dosages are raised.
Using testosterone, users should also expect to deal with androgenic side effects as a possibility. These side effects can include facial/body hair growth, signs of male pattern baldness, and oily skin/acne. Some users may wish to use products such as Proscar/Propecia to reduce the amount of Testosterone that converts to dihydrotestosterone. Finasteride is also an option that users' can pursue.
Due to the suppression of natural Testosterone levels, testicular atrophy is also likely to occur in some individuals. Use of human chorionic gonadotropin can help to prevent this, among its other effects.
Some individuals find that the reaction that they experience with the compound is so bad in fact that they will have to cease administration of it. As well, due to the frequent injections of the compound and the possibility of injection site irritation, it is advisable that users rotate injection sites as frequently as possible so that no complications arise.
STACKING AND USE OF SUSTANON:-
Because of the long acting esters contained in Sustanon, it is commonly used as a long acting Testosterone. Other similar long acting Testosterone includes testoviron, Testosterone Enanthate, and testosterone Cypionate.
Due to the combination of small, medium and long acting esters, the compound is not easily controllable if injection frequency is kept minimal. As a result, if problems occur while using Sustanon, discontinuing the product is not an option. The proper use of anti estrogenic compounds is necessary for anyone planning on using Sustanon either alone or stacked with other anabolic / androgenic compounds.
Good results can be seen with 250-500mg over Sustanon every 7-10 days.
